Curious about Mahjong? Join North Shore Mahjong for a fun, beginner-friendly introduction to American Mahjong! Whether you've never touched a tile before or have always wanted to learn, this class will give you the confidence to sit down and play.

During this two-hour class, you'll learn:

• 🀄 Tile names and suits
• 🀄 How to read the National Mahjong League card
• 🀄 The Charleston
• 🀄 Calling tiles and exposures
• 🀄 Basic gameplay and Mahjong etiquette

No experience is necessary, and all Mahjong equipment and learning materials are provided. Our instructors create a relaxed, supportive environment where questions are encouraged and learning is fun.

Please arrive 5 minutes early so you have time to check in and get settled before class begins promptly at 6:00 PM.

Booking Policy

Because our classes are intentionally kept small to provide the best possible learning experience, all ticket sales are final. If you are unable to attend, your registration may not be exchanged for another class, transferred to a future date, or refunded.

However, your spot is yours to give! If you can't make it, you're welcome to send a friend, family member, or coworker in your place. Simply let us know the new attendee's name before the event so we can update our registration list.
