in us for Mahjong 101 at Central Cafe in Highland Park! This beginner-friendly class is perfect for anyone who is brand new to American Mahjong or has played a little and wants to build a strong foundation.
We'll walk you through the game step-by-step in a fun, relaxed, and supportive environment. You'll learn the tiles, how to read the National Mah Jongg League card, the Charleston, calling tiles, exposures, and the basics of gameplay.
All materials are provided, including mahjong sets, racks, NMJL cards, and learning materials. Just bring yourself and get ready to learn and play!
