In this beginner-friendly Mahjong 101 class, you'll learn:
Tile names and suits
How to set up and deal the game
The Charleston and passing rules
How to read the National Mahjong League card
Calling tiles and basic strategy
Mahjong etiquette and gameplay flow
No experience is necessary, and all materials are provided. Whether you're coming with friends or joining solo, you'll learn so much!

Please note: A current National Mahjong League card is not required for Mahjong 101 but will be needed for future play and intermediate classes.
All ticket sales are final. Your spot is yours to give—if you're unable to attend, you're welcome to send a friend in your place at any time. However, because our classes are intentionally kept small, tickets cannot be exchanged, transferred to another date, or credited toward future events.
