Learn the fundamentals of American Mahjong in this fun, beginner-friendly class at Margo in Glenview!

Mahjong 101 is designed for players who are brand new to the game or looking for a refresher on the basics. During this hands-on class, you'll learn tile identification, game setup, the Charleston, how to read the NMJL card, calling and exposure rules, and the flow of gameplay.

Our teaching style focuses on learning by playing, so you'll have plenty of opportunities to practice while receiving guidance from an experienced instructor. All equipment is provided, including tiles, racks, and NMJL cards.
