Ready to learn American Mahjong? Join North Shore Mahjong at Soup & Scoops in Edison Park for a fun, beginner-friendly three-week series!

This series takes you from learning the basics to playing full games with confidence. No experience necessary!

🀄 Mahjong 101 | October 20

Learn the fundamentals, including tile names, reading the NMJL card, the Charleston, calling tiles, exposures, and basic gameplay.

🀄 Mahjong 102 | October 27

Build on your skills with more gameplay, choosing hands, understanding exposures, and beginner strategy.

🀄 Guided Play | November 3

Put everything you've learned into practice! Play full games with an instructor available to answer questions, offer guidance, and help build your confidence.
